It starts before the visit. We walk the home or talk through it with you, count the rooms and bathrooms, and give a flat price per visit rather than an hourly rate that gets more expensive the slower someone works. Any add-ons, inside the oven, inside the refrigerator, interior windows, are priced separately and agreed before the day.
You do not need to clean before we arrive, and you do not need to apologize for the state of anything. What genuinely helps is picking up personal items and anything that has a specific home only you know about, so we spend the time cleaning rather than deciding where things go.
Tell us your priorities on the first visit. Every household has one room or one surface that bothers them more than the rest, and knowing it in advance means it gets the extra pass. Also tell us about pets, allergies, and any surface that needs a specific product. If gentler products matter to you, say so and we bring them.
You are welcome to be home or to be anywhere else. Many clients give a key or a door code and come back to a finished house. We lock up exactly as we found things.
The first visit usually runs longer than the ones after it, because we are setting a baseline rather than maintaining one. When we are done, walk it, or message us within 24 hours. Anything missed gets re-cleaned at no charge, and after that first visit the house stays where you want it.
